Fat is manifesting itself in deformed bodies and multiple diseases all considered terminal.
The Atkins Diet is the worst in my opinion than a person having no knowledge of healthy foods. I approve and do agree with this message from Hallelujah Acres at Shelby North Carolina. Health food stores contain a lot of good products but they are not totally safe. A person needs a personal knowledge of good and bad foods to avoid an early death. All
information in this journal is my own opinion only. I advocate or market no food products.
"diseases, pneumonia, and many other leading causes of death. Preventing these maladies would no doubt extend our life span and quality of life even further. Energy & endurance
Gabriel Cousins, in his book “Conscious Eating” writes on pages 183-184: “Modern ath-letes are just beginning to discover what Dr. Irving Fisher first reported in the Yale Medi-cal Journal in 1917, and what at least four more recent studies have shown: A VEGETA-RIAN DIET HELPS THE BODY FUNCTION AT AN ENDURANCE RATE THAT IS APPROXIMATELY TWICE THAT OF A FLESH-CENTERED DIET. He found that even sedentary vegetarians had more endurance than meat-eating athletes. In a study con-firming this finding, Dr. Joteyko of the Academy of Medicine in Paris compared vegetar-ians and nonvegetarians from all walks of life and found that vegetarians had 2-3 times the endurance and took one-fifth the time to recover. In a Danish study in 1968, the perform-ance of the same people on three different diets showed that on a strict vegetarian diet they averaged 167 minutes on a bicycle endurance test as compared to 57 minutes on a high meat and dairy diet. They also found that vegetarians had a faster recovery time. Dr.
Chittenden, another researcher in this area, and Dr. Fisher, felt that one of the reasons meat-eaters had less strength and endurance is that the protein breakdown products such as uric acid, urea, and urines, poison and interfere with muscle and nerve function. “There are several world-class athletes that were vegetarian at the time they won their world re-cords and performed their great athletic accomplishments. Dave Scott was a lactovege-tarian when he won the Hawaii Iron Man Triathlon an incredible six times! He won it 3 times in a row, while no one else has ever won it twice in a row. Vegetarian Edwin Moses was an Olympic Gold Medalist for eight years in the 400-meter hurdles without losing a race. Murray Rose, who as a teenager became one of the world's greatest swimmers and later starred as Tarzan, was a vegetarian. Paavo Nurmi was another vegetarian. The'Flying Finn,' who set 20 world records and won nine Olympic gold medals, found a vegetarian diet the best for endurance. Vegetarians have been able to develop strong bodies as well as endurance. For example, there is Andeas Cahling, a raw food vegetarian who won the Mr.
International award in 1980. Roy Hilligan won Mr. America. Stan Price, another vegetar-ian, set a world record in the bench press.” EDITOR: An interesting comparison is noting the differences in endurance, strength, and longevity of vegetarian (plant eating) animals, compared to carnivorous (meat eating) animals. Carnivorous animals sleep most of the day, and though very strong, have very little endurance. These carnivorous animals feed on the raw carcasses of vegetarian animals, animals they can only catch when the veget-arian animal is very young or very old. And the longevity of Carnivorous animals is usually half or less that of the vegetarian animals. For example, a horse (a pure vegetarian animal) will still be birthing offspring at 20 plus years of age, and can live to 50 years of age. And then look at the elephant, an animal that consumes a 100% plant based diet. The elephant has incredible strength, can weigh as much as 9 tons, and can live to an age of 70 plus years.
